Patterned Tile that will Make a Statement
Patterned tile is the hot new trend in kitchen backsplashes, bathroom tile, and floor tile. It’s a very bold design element that adds a lot of personality to a space. New Ravenna and Walker Zanger have released collections that include several patterned tile and mosaic options. We have picked our favorites and are going to give you the break down on each of them.
New Ravenna has so many incredible options when it comes to patterned tile, so it was really hard to narrow down our favorites.
The first tile, Reve, a handmade mosaic shown in 24K Gold Glass and Agate and Quartz Jewel Glass, is part of the Aurora™ Collection by Sara Baldwin and is sure to wow.
Want more color? No problem, Loom, a handmade jewel glass mosaic shown in Quartz, Aquamarine, Tanzanite and Turquoise, is part of this collection and will provide color & pattern in contemporary ikat pattern.
This mosaic, Kingston Lacy was gorgeously crafted with a natural stone, in colors Calacatta Tia and Bardiglio by designers Rogers and Goffigon.
McIntyre™ & Bonnie are beautiful designs that are part of New Ravenna’s Plaids and Ginghams collection. They offer a variety of color options, but we loved the two options below. The plaid below is in Driftwood, Botticino, and Bianco Antico honed while the gingham is made of gorgeous jewel tones in Pearl, Moonstone and Opal.
Medina is a unique tile by Paul Schatz in the Miraflores collection. Shown in Ming Green, Carrara polished and Thassos honed marbles, this pattern is the perfect addition to any kitchen or bathroom.
If classic colors are more your thing, then this gorgeous backsplash, Wesley Petite, might be the perfect choice. It is also part of New Ravenna’s Aurora™ Collection by Sara Baldwin.
Walker Zanger has several new collections that feature patterned tile including Duquesa, Tangent, and Villa d’Oro. We picked our favorite tile from each of these collections.
This first two options are hand-painted tiles from the Duquesa collection and feature elegant flower-like patterns.
This next pretty pattern can be found in Walker Zanger’s Tangent collection. Astrial Night is a mosaic tile and is available in Calacata, Ash Grey, and Flannel colorways.
We are really impressed with the whole Sterling Row collection. It offers the look of exquisite wood in the form of porcelain with marble inlay that can be used to dress up any space.
The last tile is the stunning Granada and can be found in the Villa d’Oro collection. Shown in color Grigio, Granada also comes in the color Cafe and has a polished finish.
With so many to choose from, it can be hard to pick a pattern. Is there one that you love? Would you go bold with a patterned tile in your own home?
