Blogger Stylin’ Home Tours: Scout & Nimble’s Holiday Home Tour

Hi all!  I am so excited because today is the big kick off of The Christmas Edition of Blogger Stylin’ Home Tours hosted by Lindsay at The White Buffalo Styling Co.  If you are hopping over from Laura’s at Finding Home, welcome!  I’m so happy to have you here!

I am thrilled to be a part of this fun week-long blog hop…be sure to follow along each day for some incredible home tours.  There are so many talented ladies involved in this series…you will not want to miss it!  Enough with the talking right?  Let’s get to the tour!

If you follow me on Instagram (scoutandnimble), then you know I have collected quite a bit of Christmas decor over the years.  I ended up going with a little more traditional theme this year and kept it mainly red and white.

One of my favorite tricks to turning grapevine wreaths into garland…it adds so much volume and texture to the tree…especially if you are going the faux route.

When I found out I was expecting my first boy, who will be turning 6 soon, I decided that I would cross stitch him a Christmas stocking.  Little did I know how time consuming it would actually be…it took me a little over a year…as in over 365 days.  :/  Needless to say, I have yet to cross stitch another for any one else in the family.

I love these angel wings that I made for the boys.  I originally made them for Valentine’s Day, but they definitely fit in with the holiday decor, too, and there is nothing like seeing your little angels eating at the table.

The tree above is, by far, my favorite tree in the house.  It has every handmade ornament that my boys have created, some of my husband’s childhood ornaments, and ones that my aunt collected each year for me since the year I was born…she gave them to me as a wedding gift…talk about a special little tree.

And that pretty much sums up our holiday decor this year!  Thank you so much for stopping by…I really hope you enjoyed it!  Oh, and if you are new here, I would love to see more of you!  I am such a fan of Instagram and love meeting & catching up with new & old friends there…it is my favorite form of social media so please be sure to stop by and say hi so we can be friends!  (username: scoutandnimble)  And be sure to hop on over to one of my dear sweet friends, Sarah M. Dorsey’s next!  You will not want to miss her tour! 😉
