We didn’t know that boat house envy was even a thing until we saw this image. The walls of windows give allow for a perfect view of the water from inside, while the open balcony offers a great space to sit outside and enjoy the view.

A dutch door is always a good idea, especially when it looks this good! This door adds a farm-style touch to the home and is painted in a shade that pairs perfectly with the exterior of the house. If this is just the view from outside, we can only imagine how great the rest of the home looks.
This home is a great example of how well two different exterior surfaces can play off of each other. Both the textures and color combine to create a classic, yet unique look. Steel doors are a great accent against the stone, making them really pop. Not to mention, the vibrant landscaping acts as the perfect finishing touch for this gorgeous home.

Every detail in this kitchen is simple, yet so well thought out. From the white subway tile with contrasting grout to the farm-style sink, we love it all. Plus, lots of windows add natural light that is sure to keep the space bright and airy.
While white cabinets are relatively common, the ones in this kitchen are anything but. The unique door design adds a surprising touch to otherwise simple cabinetry. Brass hardware and a marble backsplash are the perfect details to finish up this space.
We think there’s something so wonderful about a white brick home, and since it was our most popular post of 2017, it seems like we’re not alone. Everything about this exterior – the brick walkway, the open porch, the perfect peaks – screams “welcome home.”
