This week has been a little hectic and I cannot tell you how thankful I am that it is Friday. This weekend, it is my goal to just slow down and take in my family, my boys and all that we have to be thankful for. This past week we were supposed to launch the addition to Scout & Nimble. We have been busy planning for it for the last 9 months. Needless to say, it got pushed back a few weeks…and sometimes for this planner that can be hard. This is pretty much what our nights have been filled with…creating excel sheets out the wazoo. Don’t get me wrong…it is fabulous and I am over the moon that this is happening, but it is so.much.work.
But, we have such an awesome group of people who are working so hard to get this up and running that I know it won’t be too much longer and I literally CAN.NOT. wait to share more. If you want to be one of the first to hear all the exciting details, be sure to fill out that pesky little pop up box. I know it can be an annoying little booger, but it does have a purpose and won’t be there forever. 😉
In other news, Kirsten from 6th Street Design School featured our home in her Feature Friday and I’m still picking myself from off the floor. I absolutely love her, her style and her blog has been such a source of inspiration to me. I mean just check out what this talented girl can do. This bedroom she created has always been one of my favorites.
I’m telling you waking up to this was a perfect way to start this weekend. And I am feeling especially thankful today, because I get to go to my son’s Kindergarten class for munch n read where I get to do exactly that. I am so thankful that I am able to make it to these functions and able to share this time with him. I am bringing apples and making the best carmel dip ever as our “munch” and if you have not tried it…go make some. It is insanely good.
Be sure to check out the schedule to see all the super talented bloggers that are contributing to this series and be ready to feel inspired.
Last bit of information, but one that is so near and dear to my heart. One of my dearest friends from growing up has the sweetest little princess that is fighting a war every.single.day. She has such an amazing spirit, you guys, and her precious smile is infectious. She has Cystic Fibrosis.
There is a Great Strides Walk this weekend in Springfield and Kadyn and her Krew are raising money to fight this war against CF. The goal throughout all of this is to make CF stand for Cure Found. Please watch the video above. If it touches your heart and you are able to donate, you can do that here at the Kadyn’s Krew page . Every dollar is greatly appreciated and could help so many people. You can follow along and read more about Kadyn’s journey here. If you have any questions or would like to help raise money in another way (for all you creative folks out there), please contact me at scoutandnimble (@) gmail (dot) com. Have a wonderful weekend everybody!
