Bedroom Makeover Reveal: Client Files

Hi guys!  I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday and were able to celebrate with family and friends…we traveled a bit and had a fabulous extended weekend which makes it a bit tougher to jump back into the daily grind today.   But, I have a feeling this little ole month is going to fly by so we better just keep on trucking, right?  Today, I’m sharing an install that I did this past week.  It was a complete blast and the best news, for me, was that my client loved it.  He was going for simple and eclectic using most of the pieces of furniture that he already owned.

Interested in seeing what it looked like before?  Here are some before shots that I took.

First things first, I changed the layout to this room to make it a bit more functional and balanced.  Then, brought in gobs and gobs of texture with bedding, rugs, pillows, and curtains.  And finished it off with some fitting wall decor.  Lucky for me, he had a ton of plants which I absolutely loved styling around the room.

I actually made over another room in this same house, but by the time I got the install finished, it was dark out, which doesn’t help on the photography side of things, so I will have to share that room another time.  Thanks for checking this out and have a lovely Monday, k?  ;)

Absolutely perfect! The color palette, patterns and textural elements are warm and welcoming without looking “designed”. I love the refined rustic look! All in all a great space with plenty of personality and a masculine feel.
